Computing & Online Safety

Computing at Alma

Computing is taught using ‘Alma’s Computing Guidelines and Progression of skills’ which is based on the National Curriculum 2014 .  The teaching of computing includes computer science, information technology and digital literacy.

At Alma Primary School pupils use Purple Mash as a tool to learn computing skills and to code.  For child access to your pupil account or to view items created on Purple Mash use the tab on the left.

For other work created by the children or computing events at the school, click through to see what we've been up to in our digital scrapbook.

Online Safety is a key focus at Alma throughout the school year.

Staying Safe Online

CEOP is a command of the National Crime Agency, and is dedicated to tackling the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and young people.

CEOP is here to help young people (up to age 18) who have been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with anyone online or in the real world. We also offer advice and links to support in response to other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying or hacking. For information, advice and to report concerns directly to CEOP, visit the Safety Centre by clicking on the CEOP link below.
